Plastic is versatile, lightweight, flexible, moisture resistant, strong, and relatively inexpensive. Those are the attractive qualities that lead us, around the world, to such a voracious appetite and over-consumption of plastic goods. However, durable and very slow to degrade, plastic materials that are used in the production of so many products all, ultimately, become waste with staying power. Our tremendous attraction to plastic, coupled with an undeniable behavioral propensity of increasingly over-consuming, discarding, littering and thus polluting, has become a combination of lethal nature.

With a slight change in the formula of plastic, which allows oil to be replaced by limestone, a group of Chilean entrepreneurs has managed to manufacture plastic bags and reusable cloths that are water soluble and do not pollute.

    We Trinis need to adopt a better approach with respect to plastic usage and disposal. Too many inconsiderate disposal which pollute our water courses and lead to flooding. If we do this, add a biodegradable touch to plastic and adopt a reuse and recycle, mentality, our environment will smile with change

Kale Chips A crunchy low-glycemic snack that will fill that pit in your stomach before your next meal and curb sugar cravings. Ingredients •              1 head of Organic kale •              ½ a lemon juiced, or about 2 Tbsp •              1 Tbsp olive oil •              ½ tsp sea salt Make It Like So 1.             Preheat oven to 350F. 2.             Pull kale away from stem, wash and pat dry with a clean towel. 3.             In a large mixing bowl using your hands, mix the kale, lemon juice, olive oil and sea salt together. 4.             Lay kale out in a single layer on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Check to see how they're doing. If they're still soft, continue baking, checking every 5 minutes until crispy. 5.             Allow to cool ! You've never eaten a head of kale so fast in all your life .
